On January 9, 2014 UNN team presented the results of implementation of U.S.-Russian program “EURECA” at USRF Board meeting. UNN delegation headed by Rector Prof. Evgeny Chuprunov also included First Vice-Rector Prof. Alexander Grudzinskiy and Vice-Rector for International Affairs Dr. Alexander Bednyy. The meeting took place at L’Ermitage Beverley Hills Hotel in Los Angeles, CA (USA).

The meeting was attended by USRF Board members, including USRF Chairman Former U.S. Ambassador to Russia the Honorable James Collins, Co-Chairman of USRF and President of Deucalon Inc. Steven L. Pease, Vice President of Sberbank and Chairman of the Board of Trustees of the Russian Non-Governmental Organization of Small and Medium Business “OPORA RUSSIA” Sergey Borisov, former U.S. Ambassador to Russia the Honorable John R. Beyrle and other prominent members of political and business circles of USA and Russia. Current U.S. Ambassador to Russia Michael McFaul also attended the event.

UNN team presented the major achievements under the EURECA program, such as:

• Launch of U.S. Russian Innovation Corridor.

• Development of “Incubator of Innovators”: Student innovation business idea competition “InnoBusiness”, Launch of UNN Student Business-Incubator, and iGeneration – online business game for young entrepreneurs.

• Future launch of “International Research Accelerator”
