On July 12, 2013 UNN’s Hall of Science hosted a commencement ceremony for the graduates of the University of Nizhni Novgorod. This year students from Algeria, Armenia, Azerbaijan, Belarus, Egypt, Gabon, Kazakhstan, China, Congo, Moldova, Tajikistan, Turkey, Mongolia and Ukraine graduated from UNN.

First Vice-Rector, Vice-Rector for International Affairs and Innovation in Education A.O. Grudzinsky wished new Bachelors, Specialists and Masters good health, good luck and a successful career. He also pointed out that the education received in UNN, will over time become more and more prestigious, as the Russian Government set a task for the University to enter the top 200 World Universities. In response, foreign graduates promised to remember their studies in Lobachevsky State University of Nizhny Novgorod and to maintain contacts with the alma mater.
