Preparatory course student Mark Bassilios won the “Russian word” contest. This annual event was conducted for the third time by the “Silver Rain” Radio station. Students were to recite a passage from the works of Russian classics, sing a traditional Russian song.
Mark Bassilios recited a passage from Eugene Onegin by Alexander Pushkin and was awarded a diploma and a souvenir from the radio station. The performances of FIS students Demirji Khakan Kutai (Turkey), Turk Takha Yavuz (Turkey) and preparatory course student Nagashima Akira (Japan) also received a mentioning.
